Job Summary
Provide basic and advanced respiratory care services to infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Director and Medical Director. Plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory care across all patient care departments while performing therapy services and testing within the scope of practice and state licensure guidelines. Maintain KSBHA licensure and NBRC certification, completing required BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP training. Required Qualifications
- 1 + years clinical experience
- Able to perform all therapeutic respiratory care procedures in the inpatient and outpatient setting
- Successful completion of an associate or bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care
- KSBHA license
- Certified Respiratory Therapist from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care
- Registered Respiratory Therapy from the NBRC
