The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining the Respiratory Care Program while meeting client expectations through training and technical support. Key responsibilities include adapting equipment and treatments for individual resident problems, taking verbal orders from physicians, assisting in in-service training, participating in organizational meetings, attending educational seminars, and engaging in the QAPI process. Ideal candidates should possess good interpersonal communication skills, demonstrate compassion and teamwork, and be self-motivated, dependable, and ethical.
