Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, execute general respiratory care procedures and critical care protocols in adult care areas, conduct blood gas analysis, and manage all equipment. Provide patient education while maintaining current certifications in BCLS and ACLS. Maintain all required competencies for duties and responsibilities. Requires an Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences and licensure by the State of Georgia. This PRN role is with Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Previous Working Experience in Respiratory care
- Successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- Current certifications in BCLS
- Current certifications in ACLS
- Actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies
