Job Summary
Evaluate patients and recommend treatment plans for critical and complex medical and surgical conditions. Provide respiratory care to patients, performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes. Promote continuous quality improvement while teaching and counseling patients and families. Maintain active CRT or RRT credentials, current state licensure, BLS certification, and ACLS training upon hire. Work per diem nights in a critical illness recovery hospital in Bristol, TN, with potential advancement to full-time opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent
- Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
- Current state licensure
- ACLS certification upon hire (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)
- Availability for PRN nights
- Location in Bristol, TN
