Job Summary
Evaluate patients and recommend treatment plans while providing respiratory care for critical and complex medical and surgical conditions. Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes and promote continuous quality improvement. Teach and counsel patients and families during their recovery. This per diem position requires an active CRT or RRT credential, current state licensure, and ACLS certification. Shifts run from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. with pay of $35.00 per hour. Required Qualifications
- Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent
- Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
- Current state licensure
- ACLS upon hire (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)
