Job Summary
Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician's orders and consult physicians on therapy effectiveness. Act as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing regarding respiratory care while performing duties as assigned. Maintain current Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure and hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist credential. Work in a caring, collaborative team where your voice matters, helping shape the future of healthcare through innovation, technology, and compassion.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Meets state licensure requirements
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- PALS required for co-workers who work in the Emergency Room
- Physical demands: push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs
- Physical demands: pinch up to 10 lbs
- Physical demands: kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally
Desired Qualifications
- Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Critical care experience
