Job Summary
Evaluate patients and recommend treatment plans while providing respiratory care for critical and complex medical and surgical conditions. Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes, promote continuous quality improvement, and teach or counsel patients and families. Work per diem or PRN day or night shifts in our critical illness recovery hospital, offering extended healing services to chronic, critically ill patients.
Required Qualifications
- Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent
- Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
- Current state licensure
- ACLS upon hire (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)
- PRN Day or Night schedule availability
- 12 HR Shifts availability
