Job Summary
Manage and assess patients with chronic respiratory diseases requiring mechanical ventilation during periodic home visits. Administer all aspects of respiratory therapy, including educating patients and facilitating their transition from hospital to home settings. Perform patient assessments, manage records, and complete necessary paperwork while ensuring compliance with safety and infection control policies. Perform data entry of PHI into company software and work independently in accordance with Advent Home Medical's standards of practice. Full-time role with 1-2 years of experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Licensed through the state of Michigan as a Respiratory Therapist
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
- Knowledge of modern principles, methods, materials, and equipment
- Knowledge of possible hazards to patients and appropriate precautions
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to manage records, complete necessary paperwork, and perform patient assessments
- 1-2 years experience
- Ability to perform data entry of PHI into the company software
