Job Summary
Provide pulmonary function testing and support physicians and nursing staff in the Pulmonary Department. Perform pulmonary tests (e.g., DLCO, ABG, CPET, bronchodilator testing) and assist with pulmonary stress testing; manage equipment and supplies for pulmonary testing; coordinate with the Pulmonary RN to maintain emergency equipment and clinic readiness. Requires Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy, BLS/ACLS (within 90 days), and active NC Respiratory Therapist license. Scheduled Monday–Friday day shift; full-time position in Pinehurst, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- BLS & ACLS certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Active license/registration according to the standards for the state of North Carolina for Respiratory Therapists
- Six months experience in a clinical or hospital environment in Respiratory Therapy preferred
