Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, execute general respiratory care procedures and critical care protocols in adult care areas, and conduct blood gas analysis. Maintain and manage all equipment while providing patient education. Requires an Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences, previous respiratory care experience, and National Board registration with Georgia state licensure. Must hold current BCLS and ACLS certifications. This role is based at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Previous Working Experience in Respiratory care
- Successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- Current certifications in BCLS
- Current certifications in ACLS
- Actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies
