Job Summary
Evaluate patients and recommend appropriate treatment plans while providing respiratory care for those with critical and complex medical or surgical conditions. Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes and promote continuous quality improvement. Teach and counsel patients and families. Maintain active CRT or RRT credentials, current state licensure, and required ACLS certification. Work per diem at our critical illness recovery hospital in Tucson, AZ, supporting extended healing for chronic, critically ill patients.
Required Qualifications
- Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent
- Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
- Current state licensure
- ACLS certification upon hire (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)
