Job Summary
Evaluate patients and recommend treatment plans for critical and complex medical and surgical conditions. Provide respiratory care while performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes. Promote continuous quality improvement and teach or counsel patients and families. This per diem night shift role at Select Specialty Hospital in Gainesville, Florida, offers $40/hour with potential advancement to full-time. Candidates must hold an active CRT or RRT credential, current state licensure, and ACLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent
- Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
- Current state licensure
- ACLS certification upon hire (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)
- PRN Night shift schedule
- 4 (12-hour) shifts within 6 weeks
