Job Summary
Evaluate patients and recommend appropriate treatment plans while providing respiratory care for those with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions. Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes, promote continuous quality improvement, and teach or counsel patients and families. Maintain current state licensure, active CRT or RRT credential, BLS certification, and ACLS certification. Work night shifts on a per diem or PRN basis at our Gulfport, MS critical illness recovery hospital, where you may advance to full-time opportunities after demonstrating skills and dedication.
Required Qualifications
- Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent
- Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
- Current state licensure
- ACLS certification upon hire (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)
- Night Shift availability
- Per Diem / PRN / As Needed schedule availability
