Job Summary
Evaluating patients and recommending appropriate treatment plans while providing respiratory care for those with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions. Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes and promote continuous quality improvement. Teach and counsel patients and families on their care. Requires an active CRT or RRT credential, current state licensure, BLS certification, and ACLS training. Night shift (12-hour) per diem positions at Select Specialty Hospital - Boardman offer shift differentials and opportunities for advancement toward full-time roles.
Required Qualifications
- Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent
- Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
- Current state licensure
- ACLS upon hire (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)
- Night Shift (12-Hour Shifts) PRN / As Needed
