RESPIRATORY THERAPIST (PER DIEM)

Per diem Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory assessment, support, treatment, or diagnostic testing in acute care, emergency, or outpatient settings. Responsibilities include performing emergency care such as artificial respiration and CPR assistance, monitoring patient responses (ABGs, vital signs, and blood gas changes) and consulting physicians as needed, obtaining ABGs and EKGs, setting up and operating devices (high flow oxygen, BiPAP, mechanical ventilators, environmental control systems, and aerosol generators) per treatment parameters, supporting the clinical team through training, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, maintaining patient confidentiality, and documenting patient information. Requires Associate degree in Respiratory Care and active RRT credential with WA license, plus BLS and ACLS/PALS/NRP within 90 days; prior Critical Care experience preferred.
