Job Summary
Evaluate patients and recommend appropriate treatment plans while providing respiratory care for critical and complex medical and surgical conditions. Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes, promote continuous quality improvement, and teach or counsel patients and families. This per diem day shift role at a critical illness recovery hospital in Gulfport, MS, supports extended healing for chronic and critically ill patients. Active CRT or RRT credential, current state licensure, BLS, and ACLS certification are required.
Required Qualifications
- Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent
- Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
- Current state licensure
- ACLS upon hire (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)
