Job Summary
Per diem Part-time Respiratory Therapist at Lourdes Health System in Camden night shifts. Responsible for the treatment, care, and management of patients with cardio-respiratory deficiencies or abnormalities; conducts patient assessments and develops individualized respiratory care plans; administers treatments/medications as prescribed; demonstrates competency in invasive and non-invasive ventilator care; handles Blood Gas Laboratory procedures as location requires; operates and maintains medical gas delivery and airway humidification systems; provides patient and family education on medications, disease processes, treatments, and wellness strategies; documents care activities using computer information management systems.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved program of study in Respiratory Care
- RRT or CRT with credentialing as appropriate (CRT with 10 years experience acceptable with plan to earn RRT within 1 year)
- BLS credential
- ACLS credential (or obtain within 6 months)
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the New Jersey State Board of Respiratory Care
