Job Summary
Conduct all aspects of patient care, ensuring cardiovascular and respiratory services align with NBRC and hospital standards. Provide consultation, instruction, and technical direction to medical, nursing, and other staff members. Maintain current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications, with a Pennsylvania license required prior to orientation. This part-time role at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital operates from 10:30 am to 11 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Graduate of AMA approved school of respiratory care
- Required didactic and clinical experience with all patient populations
- Licensed by the State of Pennsylvania
- Current ACLS
- Current BLS
- Current PALS
- Must be able to work 10:30 am-11 pm shifts
- Must be available for Part Time work
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) years of clinical and technical experience
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work with others (physicians, therapists, nursing, etc)
- Teach/instruct
- Technical and clinical expertise
- Resource person
- Manual and finger dexterity
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to carry out duties of charge person
