Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist (Part-time, self-scheduling) provides pediatric and young-adult respiratory care at the Kosair for Kids Complex Care Center in Louisville, KY. Responsibilities include administering treatments, managing ventilators, and performing pulmonary procedures to improve resident outcomes; collaborating with interdisciplinary teams; teaching and supporting medical trainees; and engaging in resident activities. Shift options include 24 hours per week with a night shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM). Requires Kentucky licensure as a Respiratory Therapist, NBRC certification, and active BLS. Organization is Home of the Innocents, a Louisville nonprofit focused on pediatric care and complex medical needs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Kentucky
- National Board of Respiratory Care certification
- Active BLS certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
