Respiratory Therapist (Part-time)

Observe, assess, and monitor patients in outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation programs to ensure safe treatment progression. Obtain vital signs, oxygen saturation levels, and other patient indicators during sessions. Provide hands-on support and encouragement while educating patients and families on disease management, breathing techniques, and medication compliance. Recognize changes in patient condition and escalate concerns promptly. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team on clinical documentation and electronic medical record entry. Reinforce individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes and quality of work. Adhere to infection prevention protocols and safety standards. Foster a positive, patient-centered environment while maintaining effective communication with physicians and interdisciplinary members. Monday through Friday, 10:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
