Job Summary
Join Ochsner Health as a Respiratory Therapist providing respiratory care to patients of all ages. Requires an Associate's Degree, current licensure, and various certifications. Entry-level position with no prior experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
- Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification (only for trained therapists working in the NICU)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be obtained within 90 days of hire
