Job Summary
Independently provide respiratory therapy treatments and procedures in accordance with physician orders, Georgia Composite Medical Board guidelines, and the scope of practice. Manage care for assigned adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients within adult or neonatal intensive care areas, maintaining completed competency per hospital policies. Requires RRT licensure from Georgia, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Schedule runs 6:45am to 7:15pm with rotating weekend requirements; no on-call duties. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program
- Licensed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from Georgia Composite Medical Board in good standing without limitations
- Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) by the American Heart Association
- Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association
- Certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) by the American Heart Association
- Available for rotating weekend shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy
- One (1) year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Certified in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
