Job Summary
Independently provide various respiratory therapy treatments and procedures for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in intensive care areas per physician orders and established guidelines. Manage assigned patient care while maintaining competency in accordance with Northside Hospital's philosophy and policies. Maintain licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in good standing with the Georgia Composite Medical Board, along with certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and PALS. Work rotating weekend shifts from 6:45pm to 7:15am.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited respiratory care program
- Licensed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from Georgia Composite Medical Board in good standing without limitations
- Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) by the American Heart Association
- Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association
- Certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) by the American Heart Association
- Weekend Requirements: Yes- Rotating Basis
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy
- One (1) year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Certified in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
