Job Summary
Provide various respiratory therapy treatments and procedures independently in accordance with physician orders, Georgia Composite Medical Board guidelines, and established scope of practice. Manage care for assigned adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including those in adult or neonatal intensive care areas, while maintaining completed competency per hospital policies. Requires RRT licensure, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with rotating weekend shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited respiratory care program
- Licensed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from Georgia Composite Medical Board in good standing without limitations
- Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) by the American Heart Association
- Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association
- Certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) by the American Heart Association
- Weekend Requirements: Yes- Rotating Basis
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy
- One (1) year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Certified in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
