Respiratory Therapist Non-Ventilator

Job Summary
Deliver and manage respiratory therapies including PAP, ventilator, airway clearance, and oxygen therapy. Perform comprehensive clinical assessments, interpret findings, and provide recommendations to physicians and referral sources. Conduct patient set-ups, follow-ups, and education, ensuring patient and caregiver confidence with equipment. Participate in on-call rotation and support discharge planning to home care, while maintaining infection control, HIPAA, and documentation standards. Provide in-services and education to hospital staff and other healthcare professionals, and coordinate with CPAP/BiPAP authorizations and referrals.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree from an AMA-approved respiratory program
- 1 year of clinical experience as a Healthcare Respiratory Therapist, HME Respiratory Therapist or Nurse with ventilator experience
- Valid and unrestricted Respiratory Therapist license in all states serviced by the branch or Associate degree in Nursing with an active and unrestricted LPN or RN license
- CPR certification
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
