Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, execute general respiratory care procedures and critical care protocols in adult care areas, conduct blood gas analysis, and maintain all equipment. Provide patient education while ensuring compliance with National Board for Respiratory Care registration and Georgia state licensure. Maintain current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications and actively practice required competencies. One year of professional respiratory experience is preferred. This role offers schedule flexibility and comprehensive wellness programs within Piedmont's diverse teams.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience in performing professional respiratory duties
