Job Summary
Conduct assessments and respiratory care procedures for pediatric and neonatal patients, including general and critical care units. Perform blood gas analysis and interpretation while maintaining and managing equipment. Deliver patient and family education specific to these care areas. Hold an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy and active RRT, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP credentials upon hire. Maintain all required competencies and possess a preferred Neonatal Pediatric Specialist credential. Work nights in the Midtown location.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree from an accredited school in Respiratory Therapy
- Previous Working Experience in Neonatal or Pediatric Respiratory care
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation
- Active practice and maintenance of all required competencies
Desired Qualifications
- Neonatal Pediatric Specialist credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care
