Job Summary
Provide respiratory care to patients across the lifespan (neonatal to geriatrics) including performing and monitoring therapy treatments, operating and managing respiratory equipment such as ventilators and oxygen systems, conducting spirometry and blood gas analysis, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdepartmental teams to assess needs, document care, and follow established protocols. Apply therapeutic communication, problem solving, and crisis intervention during patient care, participate in CPR, and support workflow efficiency through review of electronic medical records and adherence to policies.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Knowledge of respiratory care equipment
- Ability to work with patients of all ages (neonatal to geriatrics)
