Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments, general and critical care respiratory care procedures, and newborn respiratory care in Labor and Delivery. Perform blood gas analysis and interpretation while maintaining and managing equipment. Provide patient and family education across adult and neonatal areas. Requires RRT, BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications upon hire. This role supports the NICU and WEO teams at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Previous Working Experience in Neonatal Respiratory care
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
