Job Summary
Direct patient care in respiratory therapy in the NICU, following physician orders; consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy; serves as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care; duties as assigned; requires graduation from a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program, a current RCP license, and NBRC RRT credential; ACLS and PALS may be required for ER roles; physical demands include pushing/pulling/gripping up to 50 lbs and kneeling/crouching/crawling as needed; Mercy offers benefits and opportunities for growth.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential NBRC
