Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, conduct general and critical care respiratory procedures, and provide respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery. Execute blood gas analysis and interpretation while maintaining and managing equipment. Deliver patient and family education across adult and neonatal areas. Requires an Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences, prior neonatal experience or successful orientation, and licensure by the National Board and State Board of Medical Examiners. Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Previous Working Experience in Neonatal Respiratory care
- Successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners
- Current certifications in BCLS
- Current certifications in ACLS
- Current certifications in NRP
- Actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies in both adult and neonatal areas
