Job Summary
Entry-level Respiratory Therapist position available for new graduates at Ochsner Health. Responsible for providing respiratory care, including oxygen therapy and diagnostic procedures, to patients of all ages. Requires an Associate's Degree, relevant certifications, and a current state license.
Required Qualifications
- Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
- Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification (if applicable)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be obtained within 90 days of hire
