Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist role providing respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing and ventilation support to patients across ages, including neonatal to geriatric, with ABG analysis and EKGs. Responsibilities include monitoring and weaning oxygen therapy, assisting with artificial airways, educating patients and coworkers, performing routine and advanced therapeutic procedures, reviewing clinical information, maintaining certifications, and staying current with regulatory standards. Requires Associate's Degree, active state license, NBRC CRT, BLS, NRP (NICU) and ACLS/PALS within defined timelines, plus proficiency in computer/data entry, Clear communication and strong analytical/interpersonal skills. Required Qualifications
- Required - Associate's Degree
- Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
- Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification (only for trained therapists working in the NICU)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be obtained within 90 days of hire
