Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist responsible for providing respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing and ventilation support for patients from neonatal to geriatric, including monitoring and weaning oxygen therapy and artificial ventilation, arterial blood gas analysis and EKGs, and delivering therapies as ordered by a physician. Roles include educating patients and co-workers on procedures and treatment plans, maintaining current professional certifications, and performing routine and advanced therapeutic procedures while adhering to policies and regulations in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
- NBR-Certified Respiratory Therapist
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
- NRP Certification (NICU)
- ACLS within 90 days of hire
- PALS within 90 days of hire
