Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist to join Nashua Post Acute and Healthcare Center as a Full-time RRT. Responsibilities include performing chest examinations, collaborating with physicians to develop and adjust treatment plans, delivering therapy with significant independent judgment, conducting lung capacity and acid-base tests, administering oxygen and aerosol therapies plus chest physiotherapy, connecting patients to ventilators when needed, educating patients and families on equipment and medications, and monitoring patients and equipment. Requires 3 years of experience and RRT licensure; strong interpersonal skills are essential. Position offers tuition reimbursement, benefits, 401(k) with match, and a supportive workplace culture.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Current state licensure
- Experience with Trach Care and Ventilator Management in skilled nursing home, LTACH or hospital setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact well with residents and families
