Job Summary
Direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders; collaborates with physicians and nursing staff as an advanced resource on respiratory care; role includes performing duties as assigned and supporting care in the Mercy South facility (Saint Louis, MO) on a part-time basis (24 hours/week) with a $20,000 sign-on bonus. Licensure requirements include an RCP license and NBRC-credentialed RRT; ACLS preferred and PALS for ER; CoARC-accredited respiratory care program graduate; ability to operate respiratory care devices and meet physical demands.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC
- PALS required for ER coworkers
- Physical ability to push/pull/grip up to 50 lbs and kneel/crouch/crawl as needed
