Respiratory Therapist

Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions while administering oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and aerosol medications. Perform diagnostic tests including arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing, then collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans. Educate patients and families on respiratory care, equipment use, and disease management while maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with safety and infection control standards. Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment to ensure proper function and safety. Requires current RRT or CRT license, BLS and ACLS certification, and experience in acute care or ICU settings preferred.
