Job Summary
Provide comprehensive respiratory care across acute care hospitals, specialty centers, and community settings. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including oxygen therapy, aerosol medication delivery, chest physiotherapy, ventilator management, and arterial blood gas sampling/analysis. Monitor patient responses, adjust care plans per protocols, and communicate findings to the healthcare team. Support emergency response efforts with airway management and life-support measures. Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions, treatments, and equipment usage; document assessments and outcomes in the electronic medical record; participate in quality improvement and infection control initiatives; pursue continued education and cross-training opportunities.
