Respiratory Therapist Lead

Assess patients' pulmonary status, develop care plans with physicians and nurses, and deliver respiratory treatments including intubation, extubation, and ventilated patient management. Perform procedures such as arterial blood gas processing, cardiac monitoring, and CAC response while documenting interventions and contributing to multidisciplinary teaching and discharge planning. Reduce length of stay through timely clinical intervention and delegate follow-up treatments to the care team. Collaborate daily on overall respiratory care plans and reinforce care with RNs and families. Participate in quality monitoring to identify variances affecting length of stay and mentor new associates during orientation.
