Job Summary
Prioritize job duties according to patients' needs and changing acuity levels while administering medication therapies, performing patient transfers, and transporting patients. Evaluate patient needs to provide routine respiratory care including ABGs and bronchial hygiene therapy, or perform higher-level critical care interventions such as ventilator management, code blue responses, and airway management. Act as a patient advocate by incorporating education into the interdisciplinary care plan and document all care in accordance with hospital policy and regulatory requirements. Maintain independence in specialty respiratory care practices according to state requirements and standards. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 Year / Associate Degree
- Current RCP licensure in appropriate state
