Job Summary
Weekend Respiratory Therapist II at Wellstar Paulding Hospital on the Night shift (7pm-7am) provides respiratory care in primarily critical care areas, including ventilator management, bron bronchial hygiene, oxygen and medical gas therapy, ABG sampling and analysis, and patient/family education. The RT II collaborates with the health care team, performs patient assessments, supports education of new employees and students, and contributes to quality and safety initiatives. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are offered for qualified, experienced respiratory therapists; responsibilities span patient care delivery, documentation, education, and staff development.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy education program (CoARC or CAAHP) with minimally 20 quarter hours of science
- Associate’s Degree A.S. degree required
- Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
