Respiratory Therapist II Wkd Non-NICU (Nights)

Deliver patient care in complex, multiple problem-patient situations with significant independent decision-making and self-direction. Perform patient assessments, administer aerosolized medications and medical gas therapy, and manage ventilators including weaning, waveform interpretation, and airway procedures. Conduct arterial blood gas sampling and educate patients, families, and new staff on respiratory care needs. Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan care and participate in performance improvement initiatives while ensuring medication safety and accurate documentation. Work nights from 7pm to 7am in critical care areas at Wellstar Paulding Hospital in Hiram, GA.
