Respiratory Therapist II (RRT)

Prioritize patient care interventions and medical orders based on changing acuity levels while acting as an advocate for patients and their support systems. Administer medication therapies, perform patient transfers, and transport patients as needed. Evaluate patient needs to provide routine respiratory care including ABGs, bronchial hygiene therapy, and higher-level critical care interventions such as ventilator management, airway management, and code blue responses. Demonstrate independence in specialty respiratory care practices according to state requirements and standards. Document all care in accordance with hospital policy and regulatory requirements.
