Respiratory Therapist II (RRT) Non-NICU CH NF

Administer medications and implement respiratory care using the evaluate-and-treat process for complex, multiple problem-patient situations. Perform patient assessments, manage protocol ventilators, and handle airway management including intubation, extubation, and trach care. Conduct arterial blood gas sampling, verify orders, and deliver aerosolized medication, bronchial hygiene, and oxygen therapy. Educate patients and families while mentoring new employees, students, and peers. Work night shifts in critical care areas with significant independent decision-making, addressing biological, emotional, and psychosocial needs. Comply with WellStar Health System policies and participate in performance improvement initiatives to promote quality care.
