Respiratory Therapist II (RRT)

Prioritize patient needs and changing acuity levels to ensure timely completion of care interventions and medical orders. Administer and evaluate medication therapies, perform patient transfers, and transport patients while acting as a patient advocate. Provide routine respiratory care including ABGs and bronchial hygiene therapy, and manage critical care tasks such as ventilator management, code blue, airway management, and blood gas analysis interpretation. Demonstrate independence in Respiratory Care practices according to state requirements and standards. Document all care in accordance with hospital policy and regulatory requirements.
