Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist II (RRT) delivers complex patient care in critical care with ventilator management, airway management, ABG analysis, and education responsibilities. Responsibilities include medication administration, patient/family education, collaboration with health care teams, supervision and mentoring of staff/students, adherence to safety and quality initiatives, and performance of invasive/non-invasive procedures and pulmonary diagnostics as applicable. Requires BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP or equivalent, NBRC-RRT or equivalent credential, and Respiratory Therapy degree (Bachelor's or Associate's). Night shift based in Roswell, GA at Wellstar Health System with extensive patient care and education duties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP or NRP-Instructor
- NBRC-RRT
- RCP (Respiratory Care Professional)
- 2 yrs experience preferred?
- 0-2 yrs clinical experience with minimal 6-months critical care
