Job Summary
Administer medication and implement respiratory care using the evaluate-and-treat process for complex, multiple problem-patient situations primarily in critical care areas. Perform patient assessment, ventilator management, weaning, airway procedures, and arterial blood gas sampling while collaborating with the healthcare team to plan care. Educate patients, families, and support systems; mentor new employees, students, and peers. Provide patient safety, promote evidence-based practice, and participate in performance improvement initiatives. Requires Bachelors or Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy, RRT certification, and 0-2 years of clinical experience including 6 months in critical care. Night shift.
