Job Summary
Deliver complex respiratory care in critical care settings, including ventilator management, airway procedures, and arterial blood gas analysis. Administer aerosolized medications, perform bronchial hygiene, and provide patient and family education while mentoring new staff. Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan care, ensure medication safety, and promote evidence-based practices. Work night shifts (24 hours per week) in a part-time capacity.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy education program (CoARC or CAAHP) with minimally 20 quarter hours of science
- Associate's Degree A.S. degree
- 0-2 yrs clinical experience with minimal 6-months critical care
- Ability to communicate well
- Critical thinking skills
- Establish and maintain working relationships with physicians and other health care professionals
- Computer skills including familiarity with databases
- Good customer relation, assessment, and communication skills
