Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist II provides medication administration and comprehensive respiratory care in primarily critical care settings, including ventilator management, airway management, arterial blood gas sampling, and education for patients, families, students, and staff. Responsible for assessment, planning, collaboration with health care team, documentation, safety, and participation in professional development. Location is Roswell, GA; role involves night shift and invasive/non-invasive procedures within the cardiac and pulmonary services context, with emphasis on evidence-based practice and adherence to policy and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Respiratory Therapy or Bachelors Respiratory Therapy-Preferred
- NBRC-RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- RCP - Respiratory Care Practitioner
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ACLS-Instructor
- 0-2 years clinical experience with minimum 6 months critical care
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work night shift in healthcare setting
