Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist II (PRN Nights) provides advanced respiratory care in complex patient situations with ventilation management, ABG analysis, and education for patients, families, and staff. Responsibilities include medication administration, ventilator management and weaning, arterial blood gas analysis, invasive and non-invasive procedures support, patient assessment, collaboration with care teams, ensuring safe and high-quality care, and contributing to staff education and professional development. Location: Marietta, GA. Requires RRT/RC licensing and critical care experience 0-2 yrs; shift is night; heavy emphasis on independent decision-making and leadership in critical care settings.
Required Qualifications
- NBRC-RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- RCP - Respiratory Care Practitioner
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - American Red Cross BLS
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS - American Red Cross ACLS
